A downloadable game for Windows

AI: All assets, code and sounds are made using Claude Code and the game idea is my own.

Gravel Tycoon is a game about shoving an unreasonable amount of rock. You push a timber cart with an iron-shod board on the front. Ahead of you is a mountain of loose ore, thousands of individual stones.

Drive into the pile, bank a berm against the blade, and shove the lot onto a sell pad. The bigger the load you deliver in one go, the more each stone is worth. Then spend it.

A wider board, a faster cart, a richer seam, a gate into the next chamber. When the surface starts to feel small, there is a pit in the middle of the plaza with a winch tower over it.

The Descent goes down forever. Every five floors is a new stratum with its own rock, its own colour and its own way of making your life difficult — scree that takes your grip, vents that erupt under the cart, cracks in the floor that swallow ore you were halfway through delivering, and darkness. Down there you cut Resonant Shards a second currency that never converts to coins and buys the things coins cannot: a magnet that pulls stray ore to your blade, a lamp, five different carts, and a driver who is not necessarily human.

**What is in it**

- Two surface biomes and an endless shaft under them

- Nine coin upgrades and eight Shard upgrades, all of which change how the machine  actually handles

- Five carts, seven drivers, and thirty-odd cosmetics

- Eight buildings to unlock around the hub, including a crew you can hire to haul alongside you

- An ore codex, personal bests, and a row of trophies for the ones worth keeping

**Controls**

- **WASD** — drive

- **Mouse** — look

- **E** — use a building

- **H** — horn

- **Esc** — pause, settings, and **How to Play**

Every key can be rebound in Settings → Controls.

Future content is planned: more biomes and unlocks.

**A note on this build**

This is the first public release. It was built for my own kids to play, and it has had far more measuring than playing. If something feels like a grind, reads badly, or plainly breaks, I would genuinely like to hear about it in the comments.

**Requirements:** Windows 10 or later, 64-bit. Needs a GPU with Vulkan support (most cards from 2016 onward). About 110 MB on disk.
